NeoPets Guides – NeoPets Places |
by Rissa, DL & Mr. Muffinman
There are so many places to explore in Neopia, we thought it would be a good idea to give you a guided tour, The maps can be accessed by going to Explore on the yellow left hand bar on the NeoPets site. From there simply click on a map to have a look round.
Meridell King’s, Knight’s Castles… Meridell is a land of lush greens and Medieval royal adventure. Ruled by King Skarl, you can encounter many magestic things here. Visit the Legendary Giant PetPet Turmaculus or Meri Acre Farms and pick yourself some juicy berries to eat! |
Faerieland A giant castle in the sky, full of games, puzzles, and faeries galore. Poogle Races take place every 15 minutes! Also check out the secret hidden tower… if you can find it! 10,000 feet above Neopia sits a cloud, a gigantic cloud stretching tens of miles in each direction. |
Mystery Island Home of the natives and the trading post, training school and the very weird Island Mystic, dont forget to pack your suncream! Mystery Island is the perfect place to go for a sun drenched vacation! |
Maraqua After the whirlpool destroyed the original city, King Kelpbeard set about rebuilding something even more splendid, with a strong army to protect it from attackers. But, the pirates found out… |
Haunted Woods Dont go alone, the Haunted Woods contains terrors unimaginable. Don’t forget a rather nasty witch, some funny photographs and a rather odd tree! |
Virtupets Space Station Dr Sloth had evil plans to take over Neopia from here but after his defeat, an adoption pound, some fun games and rather scary battledome items still remain inside. |
Lost Desert One of the most sacred places in all of Neopia, this desert will cause your boots to fill up with sand! Home to Coltzans Shrine and many tombs and pyramids, the sun beats down tirelessly day by day. |
Tyrannia This prehistoric land has many things to do. Why not take a chance and spin the wheel of mediocrity, or take a look at some cave paintings. |
Krawk Island This place is a little island located about 80 miles south of Mystery Island. Be careful of the Krawks and pirates that are native here! You may have to walk the plank! |
Jelly World J.E.L.L.O!!!…..Er, ok, wrong theme but Jelly World is an odd little town consisting of all Jelly! Orange Jelly to be exact, there isn’t much here to see yet, but why not try your luck out by visiting the Giant Jelly, and grab some tasty jiggly morsels, or for more variety visit the renowned Jelly food shop! |
Terror Mountain Not one land but 3, with a rather cold and chilly theme. Explore Happy Valley where there are many cutesy shops run by the locals. You also should check out the Ice Caves, home of the evil Snowager or try your luck with a scratchcard. Finally, climb to the top of Terror Mountain, where no-one could hear the screams of those in the Lodge… |
Roo Island Roo Island is a small island off the coast of Neopia Central. It is inhabited mostly by, yes, you guessed it – Blumaroos. These fun-loving NeoPets can always be seen bouncing around with a smile on their face, and if your King was a gentle soul who loved playing games, and made every day a holiday, you’d be smiling too! |
Kiko Lake To the north-east of Neopia Central is a large lake formed within the caldera of a long-dormant volcano. Although you can’t see much from above the surface, below is a underwater village where over a thousand Kikos make their home. For those of you that can’t breathe underwater, you can take a trip around the lake in one of the pedalos, or glass-bottomed boats. |
Lost City of Geraptiku On the northern shores of Mystery Island lay the ruins of the Lost City of Geraptiku. Recently discovered by some very curious Neopian archeologists, Geraptiku is an interesting place to explore… if you’re brave enough to venture inside. |
