Meerca Chase is one of the older games in NeoPets, however just because of its age does not mean it is a bad game to gain NeoPoints from. Meerca Chase has three difficulty levels, easy (x3), medium (x5), and hard (x8). The x# is the amount of points you get. Say if you get a yellow Negg (worth 1 pt) on easy you get three points, on medium you get five, and on hard you get eight. So if you get one that is good like a Fish Negg (50 pts) on hard you get 400 points (aka 400 NP). Meerca Chase pays quite well too, 100 NP for every 100 points scored. Makes it simple. When you first click it you see a screen with a meerca, the point system, and a box with quality and difficulty options and of course the start button. Select the one you want. I play the game on hard, which after you get used to it isn't that tough. Try easy or medium first depending how much gaming you do (on or off NeoPets). Select your difficulty and quality then either push the Space bar or click start. Try using the Space bar, it's easier. And it's off! Your meerca will be going madly around the screen. Use your arrow keys to control and it and be sure to avoid the Red Neggs. Like in any game the key is practice. Remember the more you play the better you wil get and the more NP you will earn. I don't settle with less than 200 NP per game, and I'm not exactly an expert. There's no real tips one can give in Meerca Chase, however a suggestion is; sometimes there are more red neggs per game than others. Push F5 to refresh and start playing and see how many red neggs there are after you get two-three regular neggs. It should help. There is another secret on Meerca Chase. On the first screen (after it's done
loading) where you click to play, if you click on the upper-right-hand corner,
you will get this :j.boogie: text attatched to your cursor. It supposedly gives
you a higher chance of getting rarer neggs (which will give you more points).
One time, I used that trick and got a Fish Negg, yes A FISH NEGG! This
is completely random though and we aren't guaranteeing anything. :) But,
try it out and test your luck!
